Grasspave² is an exciting 'invisible' porous paving technology that combines sound structural engineering and proven horticultural methods to allow living turf grasses to be used as traffic bearing surfaces.

The system comprises a specifically engineered porous base supporting a fully interlocked flexible matrix. This maintains soil aeration by preventing deadly compaction. Surface integrity is maintained by preventing lateral migration of root zone medium. This enables the grass root system to remain intact and functional, allowing continuous healthy turf under traffic.

The high percolation rate of the Grasspave² system reduces storm water runoff while promoting ground water recharge. It creates a free draining surface, which prevents the damage commonly seen when drainage is poor.

Grasspave² consists of 94% void which allows maximum root development. Yet it supports loads from foot traffic to heavy construction vehicles without compromising the system. Grasspave² utilizes 100% recycled plastic and is light weight for fast low cost installation.

Permanently grassed, free-draining car parks and access tracks are now possible. As you will see in our brochure, it's good enough for the Orange Bowl Stadium car park in Miami Florida (see below).
